Green Clean

I have been using this business for all my dry cleaning for the last couple of years. The staff and the owner are very nice and professional. They do great work on: dresses, suits, sweaters, wool coats, comforters, & blankets.

Although I don't live in walking distance to this cleaners, I still come back because their service is superior to other cleaners that are closer.

Overall very happy with their service and the owner send you a text when your order is ready. For busy professional, I sometimes need the reminder!

Brought in some of my boyfriends shirts to be laundered and a silk blouse of mine to be dry cleaned. I specifically asked if they could be careful as silk is obviously delicate and the guy said yes.
Fast turnaround. My bf's shirts were fine and well done but my blouse was totally ruined and has some sort of chemical stain in addition to snags and pulls all over the silk fabric :(
I was hoping to find a good spot closer to me but I will be returning to my overpriced green dry cleaners in San Carlos lol

Reliable, stays open just a little longer to wait for you if you call, quick turn around for dresses, has somehow gotten rid of notable stains

Love the turn-around time, the technology used to confirm garments are ready for pickup... they send a friendly text. Easy to work with, friendly on top of being GREEN, wah-whoo!

I had jeans tailored, priced right, good stitch and fast turn-around. Laundry service good, and the pressing of garments done well. 5-stars on service, location and price--- AND Green! Can't beat that... super happy customer. They have my business and I refer my friends and family ---

This dry cleaners is all that it needs to be. The turnaround I've experienced has been a couple of days at most (other places I've tried have been 4-7 days). I like the fact there's no guessing on pickup, it's ready as soon as it's ready and I get a text message to confirm. The guy there is friendly and I think may be the business owner -- obviously he is very intent on ensuring that as a customer you're happy.
The place is tiny, but they just do a solid reliable job.
The part I like most (besides the texting) is the quality of the way Green Clean pay attention to detail when they press the collars -- always nicely done. I've been blown away at just how badly collars are pressed by many other places and they still charge for it (and have had to even re-press collars myself after cleaning) -- come on it's the most important part of the shirt(!).

I really enjoy Green Clean. I have been coming for a few years, since being in Redwood City.

They are very nice & professional. Just noticed recently that payment is due when you drop the items off. My wallet was in the car, he said I could pay when I pick up.

Great work on: Dresses, suits, sweaters, wool coats, comforters, & blankets.

Parking - Street or in the little lot by Toto's, but never really an issue as most people aren't parked for long.

Over all very happy. I usually am not in a rush to pick it up fast, though I am sure you can ask them to put a rush on it.

They will send you a text when your order is ready! Which is fantastic.

Service and quality of work is top notch. I usually go here to get my shirts for work pressed here, which they do a great job. What made me write this review is how they handled my wife's wedding dress. We brought in her wedding dress before the wedding to see if we can get it pressed for the wedding. They said they would be happy to take care of it, but they asked if I checked the place we bought it from since they usually have this as a free service. We checked the store and it was for free! For a couple about to get married, saving the $$$ any which way is ideal. Instead of trying to take money from us, the good people at Green Clean tried to save us money first before trying to make us spend on unneeded expenses. What an honest business!!!

After the weding, we went back to Green Clean to have the dress cleaned and ready for storage. The did an AWESOME job! The dress looked brand new and even came nicely boxed that kind of made the dress look like it was framed. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends.

Avoid at all cost and if you do try it, DO NOT pay upfront

Took 5 pieces (4 blouses and 1 garment) to this shop. The garment needed some minor tailor work. The 4 blouses needed treatment for localized stains. When I came to pick up the stains were almost the same and they said they just applied the gentle treatment and wanted me to look. I wish they had used the phone. However, the tailored piece was still with holes and in worst condition than when I left it. The employee even agreed that the job was poorly done and gave me the options to try again the cleaning or a refund. I refused to pay for all but one piece and requested a refund yet literally had to help find my CC num in their transaction history because they don't seem to have a way to track the purchase by code. When we finally did find the record, the refund button did not work for the employee. This was 30-40min in. I was mad and frustrated. The only nice thing I have to say is that Dan, the employee, paid me cash from his Own wallet and was understanding of my frustration. I hope he gets his money back from the owners, who lack an understanding of customer service.

I started using them off and on for the last couple years and every time they were able to take out stains that I thought would be very difficult to remove.

This last time I took 3 shirts that I had ALREADY taken to another high end dry cleaner in Atherton and they returned it with a note saying the stains were unremovable.

Green clean came through and completely floored me and save 3 beautiful shirts that I thought were ruined, the stains were all gone and the stains were all from different types of mess, coffee, food oil, color stain that came from the laundry.

These guys REALLY know what they are doing

I have been going here for a year now to get hubby's button-up shirts dry cleaned. I've also had one cocktail dress dry cleaned, too. Never had a problem! Affordable, green clean, great customer service. I really can't ask for more. :) He also takes back his wire hangers so don't feel like you have to have them stacked in your home. When your dry clean is ready, you get a convenient text message to pick up your clothes.
