Halloween Adventure

Hey it was okay. Two days before Halloween and I picked up the second-to-last item that I needed for my costume.

The store was pretty threadbare now, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of the cosmetics here were cheap $3.99 ones, don't come here expecting professional makeup.

One line for credit and debit there's a separate line for cash only. Muahaha I got to cut all those suckers paying with their flexible friends.

Pulled up to this place with excitement, and found myself leaving with complete disappointment and sadness.

I already had my camera with me, so I decided to take a photo of the mechanically moving pumpkin...thought to myself, "awww, it'd be a great photo to send to mom."

After that photo, put the cap on the camera and I walked in only to be greeted with "hi, welcome to halloween- -- - -" the guy starts drifting off into a mutter. Midway in my kind response, "um, thanks-" another guy, very commanding says, "hey don't take pictures in here!" I said, "oh, I was outside, not inside, my cameras off." He said, "oh, uh, no taking pictures." Yeah, got it, no photos.

GOOD GRIEF.

Already sad about the "welcome," I was just over it. Plus, they didn't have a good or wide selection of Cinema Secrets Make Up Kits. I didn't want to dress up as a sexy this or that, so I was out of here. No one even offered to help.

UGH.

So sad.

OH, and finding this place was NOT fun. They have arrows pointing in the wrong directions. There's a guy on the corner of La Cienega and 3rd. bouncing a sign towards the store, but the actual sign on their building is pointing across the street at a plaza. GENIUS.

Better to get lost and not even bother. I'm headed to Party City!
