Houlihan's

CLOSED -- Saturday, January 28, 2023 -- just announced on local news.
Closed for good and basically locked the doors and fired entire staff.

We went here with a large group and it really fit the rambunctious crowd.

The stuffed mushrooms appetizer were really good.
The nachos were good but the cheese and beans were only on the top. The bottom was just wet chips.

I hit mango lemon and it was delicious. It was thick and the mango scent permeated the whole area.

I got half a rack of ribs which were really good. The ribs fell right off the bone. The fries left something to be desired.

I'd go here again with a crew. It's a few steps above an Applebee's or Fridays.

Solid dinner restaurant. They have late night happy hour with discounted drinks and appetizers. For entrees we ordered the Pot Roast, French Dip and bacon cheeseburger. The Pot Roast was great! The meat was so tender and gave me an idea for my own home recipe. The French dip wasn't my favorite but I'm not the biggest fan of roast beef so that's on me. The bacon cheeseburger was very good as well! The long island was nice and strong!

Brought in a friend visiting from overseas who was craving a steak and he wanted it NOW. The closest place we could find that might offer a decent steak was Houlihan's, literally 5 minutes from my house.

We came in for an early dinner and while he ordered a steak, the rest of us opted for lighter, happy hour fare.

The fact that I can't remember what we ordered a few days ago speaks volumes. As for the food - It wasn't great, it wasn't bad, it wasn't memorable.
The Irishman "et" everything on his platter though.

The server was nice enough.

Delicious wings! It's not busy when I usually go so we are immediately seated. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful even if they aren't your server.

Houlihans can be a hit or miss kind of place. They are low on staff and some nights it shows.
Most times it's fine during the week but weekends can be frustrating. Just adjust accordingly
Food is great and I recommend the fajitas.. the smell is amazing and the sizzle makes your mouth water.
Drinks are ehh. Sometimes can be watered down and sometimes doesn't seem any alcohol in them at all.

Forgot to snap a picture of the nachos and house margarita I got. But I went to happy hour at the bar on Friday night since it was walking distance of my hotel . Select drinks were $5 I started with the raspberry mojito which was good . Then I got the happy hour nachos that was pretty much loaded with everything you could think of. I got the house margarita which came in the big margarita glass but it was pretty weak. Prices at this place wasn't bad and it was pretty busy for a cold rainy night in Jersey .

When my friend I arrived, they were busy and didn't have too much seating. One of the employees (I wish I got her name), made sure that we were seated quickly. She made room for us at the bar by grabbing an extra stool and sat us down.

I didn't order anything too special, but the Impossible Burger was still delicious. My friend ordered the Stuffed Chicken Breast and he loved it! The bartender was attentive and patient with us. If I lived in Cherry Hill, NJ, I would probably come here more often.

I just tried to go here for lunch and they had a note on the door that they are closed permanently.. always had great food and was a quick place to eat in Cherry Hill! Sad to see them go..

I was introduced by an associate and have been hooked to this location ever since. I've had lunch, dinner, happy hour, and even late night at the bar. Sometimes alone or with others and haven't experienced a bad one yet.

There's nothing wrong with a meal deal. That's why I love Houlihan's All Day Fix Menu. 3 courses for less than $25. My ultimate favorite is Seared Georges Bank Scallops on a bed of asparagus risotto. Literally chefs kiss!
