Le Local

First dinner when we got to Nice and yes, it was fantastic! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the dishes all stood out. The homemade pastas are so fresh and memorable. I mean, that mushroom ravioli needs a spot at your table no questions asked. The porchetta dish was next level wow! The thinly sliced pork was so delicate and flavorful - don't sleep on that one! Big fan of the branzino for a lighter choice. Honestly, you can't go wrong. Everything was firing on all cylinders here. Simply delish.

Really, really delicious Italian food. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the parappadelle mushroom pasta that had an olive oil based sauce with wild mushrooms and truffle flakes. It was mouthwatering!!!! It had a rich earthiness from the mushrooms, vibrancy from the fresh parsley, and a pepperiness from the truffle and (well) fresh black pepper! For dessert, I ordered tiramisu, and it was also delicious. The prices aren't bad either... 16 euros for the pasta and 6 euros for the dessert.

It's a slight walk from Vielle Ville Nice, but it's worth it. And the walk is a nice one!

I like my visits to Le Local for Italian food. It is a combined deli and restaurant. We tend to sit outside in the sun. In the evening we would usually share a platter of antipasti and then have pasta but at lunch we went for pasta and a plate of cheese and meats for my husband. All very good quality. Not the cheapest but you get good food for your money. I love the pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles - so so good. This time hubby got porchetta with provola and mushrooms and was a happy bunny :)

Staying nearby this is our "local" restaurant so could not resist going there, mainly I admit because of the name, but man was I glad I did. We ordered two of the daily dishes (no english menu for us so didn't really know what we ordered, but more fun that way) and it was really amazing. The staff was very friendly if perhaps somewhat stressed out (the place was packed when we got there around 10 in the evening!).

Would definitely recommend trying out, or if you like us are staying near by this would be your default le local place! :)

Yum! Authentic and local. Found out about this place through our e-bike tour guide. Casual and cozy atmosphere. We got the spinach ravioli and a special vegetable dish prepared that day. Also get the tiramisu! Delicious.

Great quick lunch, fresh food, affordable prices, nice little terrasse outside next to the harbour. A menu inspired by Italy and a combination that works well for a good healthy lunch.

It is a nice small place, the counter full of antipasti is really yummy looking the place has a different offer of daily dishes every day. At night the place is pretty empty, and desperate, but for lunch time it is very alive and if you are lucky to get a place in the sun, you'll enjoy your pasta double!
