Magnificenza

Located in the heart of Le Cascine park, just outside of the city centre, Le Pavoniere is the perfect spot to cool down in the summer. It's not cheap( 8 euros during weekdays, 9 euros on the weekend) but the pool is well kept and sufficiently clean. There is a bar where you can lunch or get snacks or you can bring your lunch from home and eat in the shade under the trees.

There is a special bath for children.

We throughly enjoyed spending an afternoon here one hot summer day. It's cheap and a beautiful place to swim.

I really love this place! I can't say enough positive things about it! Everyone on the staff is so helpful and friendly and the chairs they have for tanning are awesome too. The food and drinks are really good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend!

I actually have always been a huge fan of Pavoniere. The idea of having a nighttime swim after aperitivo is heaven and I have been a loyal customer going every year to enjoy this beautiful place. This year they have changed ownership ( I think ) and we went last week it kind of resembled "Flo" the disco on top of Piazzale Michelangelo. There were bouncers at the door and a 'reception" which I had never before seen at Pavoniere. Last year the deal was you could get aperitivo & swim for 10 euros which was fantastic (the year before was 8 euros). This year they seemed to have made some changes, lots of lights and a new aperitivo etc and the price has gone up substantially. No longer is a night swim included in the aperitivo which really bums me out. The price is now 15 euros for aperitivo (one drink if I got the information correct) and 10 euros for JUST a swim in the pool , which means if you want to do both, you better have 25 euros handy. It's become a little out of my price range and has now become one of the "special" occasion activities. If you haven't been you should try it at least once!
