Purrfect Auto Service

My husband went here and they messed up on his smog check. This man that's supposedly "new" is obviously not! There's pictures of him on line. He intentionally or mistakenly messed with the fuel injections causing our vehicle to not completely pass the smog. He showed us a paper in a hurry where it says passed BUT fine print says did not pass "NoT ready" please do not!!!! Pay this man he is a waste of time. Did not send paper work to the dmv and it's now end of march!! Do not trust this spot. Waste of money and horrible customer service.

Got a good deal on my oil change, brake fluid, and fuel injection. They were informative & efficient! 10/10 highly recommend!

If I could rate a negative star I would! They put an add out for a reasonable price, then for the past 4 times in the last 2 months I've gone the owner states "I don't have that oil" so he charges a higher price. The owner argues about the types of oil needed for my vehicle, which leads to an even higher price! This business continually presents false advertisement and the owner thinks that as consumers we will just go along with what he says! This business does not have specials he has false advertising and misleading adds! Do not go there!

DO NOT , I REPEAT DO NOT bring your car to Purrfect auto West Covina !! The police still haven't recovered my car and they even said themselves it seemed to be an inside job ! My car was a newer 2015 Infiniti Q50 and they still have the key in their possession and claimed someone broke the window and hot wired it . I told them they need to be held responsible for the value of my car and they said they're not doing anything about it ! This company is running scams and selling parts ! Do not take your car here !

They are thieves that do not know fully what they are doing! I have taken my car 3 times and all those times they would say it needed so and so and would charge me a lot of money! Stupidly, I would trust them, until I decided to try somewhere else on a second opinion of what they were now recommending me! This new place told me no and that my car is in good condition! Clearly they were lying to me and taking advantage that I know nothing about cars! Avoid their recommendations and stay away from this place!!!!!

I have used Purrfect Auto Service in LaHabra without any issue
I went in for a smog test on a 2005 minivan with a coupon to this Covina, CA location. The front desk person refused to accept my coupon because my car was too old. Coupon stated that it would not be valid on models older than 2000. Hmmm. Plus they would charge me an extra $10 because it was a larger vehicle. The guy also asked me for my address for which I refused to give it out. I'm not sure why you need my address for a smog test.
When I came back to pick up the vehicle, I was asked when the last time I had an oil change. I ignored his question knowing well that he wanted to me to get that service. He noted that my vehicle failed smog and that it needed to be driven more. I was charged $58.99 for a smog test. I asked if I would be charged again to retest to which he said YES. I asked him why. He said that they have to charge again for the service. WHAT a RIP OFF and SCAM at this location!!! I'm not even sure I should be returning to Purrfect Auto Sevice. It clearly NOT Purrfect. They are Purrfect in Scamming!!!!
Also when I went to the minivan, my hood was still opened. I had to wait and request for the service technician to close my hood. Totally unprofessional!!!

May have decent prices, but don't let that fool you. The manager persist you to spend money like a bat out of hell just because all I want was a simple brake fluid flush and still wants me to spend. On top of it all, the receptionist male individual couldn't type to save his life misspelling my name several times and the manager trying to force me to spend $500 dollars so I can get Snap Finance to spend for "other" additional services because my car needs to meet OEM protocols baloney and leave me in dept. in this crazy pandemic that were all in at the moment. Luckily, I left that place with a brake and steering wheel flush with a decent price combo deal, but these guys in that auto mechanic shop are professional scam artist. Beware folks!!
