I always stress about what to order... everything on the menu is good! Even something as "basic" as a grilled cheese sammie is amazing by them - three different cheeses, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, red onions, and aioli. Yes, that's their grilled cheese. So imagine their burgers, or salads, or... ok I'm hungry now. Their full menu is on their website, check it out (what's listed on Yelp is really limited).

Get sweet potatoes for a side, they are da bomb!

It's a GREAT spot for breakfast or lunch, plenty of seating in and outdoors.

Save a little room for dessert, because you're gonna get a yummy cookie with your bill.

BTW - they pay their employees a living (not minimum) wage, and therefore don't allow tipping, that's why there's an automatic 15% service charge built-in.

I met Keith H. for brunch at a popular place in Venice but the line was ridiculous and the seating was sparse. So, we walked down the street and found Sauce on Hampton. Plenty of tables were available and we grabbed one outside under an umbrella.

By the time that we sat, it was around noon so the breakfast vs. lunch debate had us flipping the menu over a couple of times trying to see which side of the menu was better. In the end, we both opted for the super breakfast sandwich with modifications, which were met with no resistance. The sandwich is served with two fried or scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, red onion, aioli and three cheeses - cheddar, swiss, and mozarella on ciabatta or wheat bread.

I've had lots of bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches in my day but this was one of the better ones. First off, three cheeses makes any sandwich a winner in my book! I love cheese and I love bread! Sauce didn't disappoint. The ciabatta roll was soft and fresh and it was large enough to hold all of the ingredients firmly inside. For sides, we chose the yukon gold potatoes and the sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were better.

This was a great deal for $13. The sandwich was large, providing me with a snack packaged for later. The yelp check-in offer (one per table) for one of our drinks was also a great deal. The pomegranate tea was very sweet, which was perfect for me. Our meal ended sweetly with the complimentary chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies and the 15% gratuity already included. This was a good choice for brunch.

I came to fuel up before a day at the beach with some friends, and got to try the grilled salmon wrap, spicy shirazi style, which seemed tasty on the menu but turned out to be quite bland): I had to keep slathering on sirarcha to add some flavor to the wrap. The roasted Yukon gold potatoes were also pretty plain and chunky, and were a chore to eat. Stay away from the potatoes friends! My friends all ordered different variations of the wrap, which they enjoyed, but weren't crazy about them.

Service wise, the waiters were pretty curt. It's also pretty small, and gratuity is automatically added. Parking is also quite hard to find, though there are some meters around. The only upside to our meal were the free macadamia nut chocolate chip cookies!

This place is great. I like the customer service, the prices, and the fresh food they have. I had the All-Natural Turkey Meatloaf with the Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes and Quinoa with Seasonal Vegetable Medley as the sides for $13. Very healthy and filling plate with a lot of flavor.

The Yelp discount/free beverage coupon and free cookies that come with your check are also a big plus in my book. I will def be back again and try something else since the menu has a lot of nice options.

I've been here twice now - once for dinner and once for brunch. I remember dinner being quiet, good lighting and ambiance and delicious food! My friends and I headed here for brunch on a Saturday morning.

FOOD:
I had the breakfast burrito with yukon gold potatoes. This was yum! Spinach tortilla and I loved how I didn't have to ask for no meat in it (meatless is default). My friends had the breakfast sandwich and really liked them too.

SERVICE:
The female waitress with the curly hair was very nice and friendly and so was another male server. ONE ISSUE: There was this one server - male, he serves the outside diners on the patio that was SUPER RUDE to us when we asked if he could check on our orders for us. He said "You guys came after everyone else, so your food is going to come out after everyone else so just be patient." EXCUUUUUUSE ME, but we did NOT arrive after everyone else!! A table of 4 arrived after us and got their food before us!! This super rude server flounced off before we could even respond! The nice female waitress came over immediately to explain the slowness to us and our food arrived right then. A nearby couple overheard the whole rude server incident and said "that guy is a d*ck, that's why we don't sit outside" Glad to know he's not just rude to us!

VENUE:
They have 2 separate indoor dining areas and patio seating. Bathroom is single, unisex.

PARKING:
Street. We were lucky and snagged a spot when someone was just leaving.

The food was good and your receipt comes with cookies! Just avoid the rude server, and I think you'll have a great time.

This place is quite SAUCY if you ask me!

If you're looking for some healthy grub that also has the ability to curb your sinful food cravings, Sauce on Hampton is for you!

If you have food allergies and/or are extremely picky with what you put in your mouth, Sauce on Hampton is for you!

The only reason Sauce loses a STAR is because my friend said her burger was slightly bland, but I think if she asked for it medium rare, she'd be singing another tune! After all, grassfed meat is far leaner than grainfed, thus it needs less cooking time!

Speaking of cooking, my salmon was PERFECTLY done and the chicken fajitas I ordered the last time I came to Sauce a year ago.... Were so good, I have even dreamt about them several times since and are the reason for my re-visiting!

I love getting SAUCEY and I will certainly be doing it again!

I got the Moroccan Chicken Bowl from Uber Eats! Super yummy and flavorful. A little spicy and salty but not too much. The chicken was flavorful but a teensy bit dry. The quinoa had tomatoes and zucchini cooked super well done but yummy and soft. I will definitely come here if I'm ever in Venice.

I don't even want to tell you about this place because it is amazing and I would love to keep it a secret. But, I don't live in LA, so, if I cant have it, I might as well share it.

The food was out of this world. SUPER FRESH, gourmet food at low prices, doesnt get any better than that.

I got a pomogrante leomonade and an ahi tuna wrap. TO DIE FOR. (see pics)

I am EXTREMELY sad that I can not frequent this place.

Instant fan! After a recommendation from another foodie friend, I decided to try this place when I visited Venice Beach yesterday. After a nice walk from Abbot Kinney Blvd and roaming the Venice Beach walk. My cousin and I developed a good appetite and made our way to Sauce on Hampton.

It's definitely a small and cool looking place. We sat outside in the patio area and browsed the menu which left us undecided for a while since everything sounded really tasty.

I ended up with the Red, Wheat and Bleu hamburger with roasted potatoes. It tasted very good. Burger patty was cooked nice and juicy. The bun was on the toasted side and the dressing on the side added a nice punch. The potatoes were good, a little on the bland side, but a dash of salt or dab of ketchup help it out nicely.

Overall a good experience and will make my way there soon and try another great item from the menu. Service was very friendly also. The place is a little hidden but worth the find.

+ The cookies that accompanied the bill was so good! I think I'll have to order a batch next time.

Yesterday I got Sauce and found a worm underneath my broccoli. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager he refused to take responsibility, and said that the worm must have fallen in there while it was being delivered. It was under the broccoli. In a take out container. In a bag.

Yes, I was repulsed to find a bug in my food. But more repulsive is their refusal to acknowledge the problem, and shift blame elsewhere. I was told I would receive a call back and never did.

Shame because my coworkers and I loved ordering from here on Seamless.

I shared a picture of the worm, take a look, and stay far away from this place.

In reading other reviews, it looks like they indeed do have a bug problem.
