Spirit Halloween

I got the creepy crimson girl, very disappointed, I got no instructions to put her together, so I used youtube videos to see how to put her together. She is made out of some of the cheapest materials and when I finally put her up, she would lean forward or back, not straightly. My house looked no different from it regularly looking, and took myself three hours to put together, not even saying one word about the rest. The rest of the stuff I got one, would probably sell for half of the price I got it for and two, looked no different from my crimson girl, you are better off buying something from somewhere else then ever going to this cheapskate of a store.

Yes, it's a cool store. It really brings out that magical feeling that Halloween is coming up. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I was asked twice if everything was alright and one of the ladies helped me finding the cat ears for the Catwoman costume. It's also very easy to find and there's plenty of parking at the Tempe Marketplace.

However, the reason why this review doesn't make it to 4 stars it's because it's extremely EXPENSIVE! A whole costume for one person will probably cost you around $100 (depending on the number of items the costume has). If you're not already equipped with some items, be ready to spend a lot!

This year I'm Catwoman and, besides the black boots, I had to buy the entire costume composed of black suit, cat ears, cat tail, fangs, black gloves and other items that amounted to $88. I wanted to buy more but my budget was already crossed. The quality of the material then, is not that great. And unless you're always be the same character every year, it's only for one night. So for the price/quality: no more than 3 stars

Went in to purchase my grandkids costumes, 3 mind you, and found 2 if the same item 1 had a low price and 1had a higher price, EXACT SAME ITEM, I asked why price difference, and was informed cheaper one was wrong, I would have to pay the higher price. Told her that was against the law, and she said no, so instead if getting a 150.00 sale over a 4.00 price difference, I walked out. She was rude, and needs to learn the law. Been buying from them for 9 years, not anymore. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I feel most of it over priced for the quality. What I got I feel the price mated it I was Batman & happy that the dress size was true to fit always try on before you leave the store... the need more sizes also everyone isnt 1 size fit all

I bought a $80 "jumping" spider on the 29th of October. No one told us the last day for returns or exchanges was the 28th of October. So we went in to exchange it for a $300 animatronic. I was told there was nothing she could do, and to take it to another store. I responded with "no" and the "manager" got very rude and snippy. The spirit on Thomas and 40th st employees are incredible, and returned it, and was happy to take our $300.

Worst costumer service ever. Not only does this company sell low quality material, you have no idea what you are buying because you cannot try things on, if something is ripped the management will not exchange your item.
I tried to exchange gloves after opening them and seeing two very large holes, I tried to exchange the gloves at the nearest spirit store and was treated horribly.
The management was cold and condescending.
DO NOT SHOP AT SPIRIT.
All customer service phone numbers are atomized.
All store location numbers are fake.
I will never go back to this company. To think, they lost business over exchanging $10 gloves.

I went again last night and it appears as though they have fixed the window problem and they've added an area to try on certain costumes. I also wanted to add that they even have costumes for your pets. This place pretty much has it all covered.

Since it's getting really close to Halloween, the place is packed and checkout may take awhile. I also noticed that a few costumes weren't in stock anymore - but they still have a huge selection. They already started discounting a few items as well.

Upon my recent visit to the location in Tempe Market place I was thoroughly disappointed by the staff while trying to return an item that had never been worn. After presenting the receipt I was accused of wearing the item in question and even taping it back closed to hide the evidence of wear. The shorts I had purchased were not only in the original packaging, but had in fact never had even been tried on. I was denied the ability to return the item even though my receipt clearly stated that I had until the 21st of October as long as the receipt was presented with the original packaging...which it was. I recommend not buying from spirit Halloween because clearly their true intent is to not work with you if you encounter any obstacles. Buy your costumes from anywhere else people, they'll probably be cheaper anyway.

Beware of size problems in packaged
kids costumes, especially those that include tights. My daughter just turned 8. The fairy costume for 8 - 10 just was way too small. I returned it and upsized to age 12 - 14 and the tights still were too small! No problem getting my money back, but no costume.
