The Bull was awesome the food was good and the staff were pretty cool and nice to us. We traveled as a group for our first time in Kensington!
We ordered the burgers and the fish and chips. And whoa. We were blown away with the variety of food and drinks offered on the menu! I definitely will be coming back one day.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ravenous X.倫敦, 英國1341352019年8月17日
The Bull is a big two-story gastropub located in the middle of the Southern Terrace of Westfield shopping centre. Both floors have independent bars, the downstairs one the more elaborate of the two. This is one of those places good for private or company parties, large family gatherings or even meetings which they have private rooms for. A short walk away from Shepherd's Bush station, the Bull's interior is a modern interpretation of the traditional British pub. It's a familiar place, easy to get comfortable in. There is a terrace on the ground floor and a balcony higher up, nice for when the weather allows.
Head chef Tenzin and his team use British ingredients extensively throughout the menu, itself filled with British classics such as Fish & Chips, Sausage & Mash, Pies, etc. That said, we felt like returning our fish and chips and our beer-battered onion rings as both were nightmarishly soggy. There was obviously something wrong with their fryer on the day we visited. One of the waitresses confirmed that we weren't the only ones to experience this. If that really was the case, then I think it's shameful that they continued to serve something knowing it was flawed. Thankfully, the burger was better.
To our surprise service was really good, friendly even. Coming from Dubai where service is everything, we have found restaurants in London, especially pubs, wanting in that department. This place was different, the blond bartender with a brown beard actually smiled at me once and opened a tab without asking for my credit card - wow! The rest of the staff were equally nice. I'd probably go back to The Bull for the ambience and to have a drink but I don't think I'd eat there again.

The Bull at Westfield is a good meet up venue. It has cosy couches and half a pub / half a cafe atmosphere what makes it a perfect place to relax, especially on the weekdays when it's less busy.
My friends suggested to go meet there on a Tuesday night for a drink and nibbles.
They have a good selection of wines and beer on the tap. The menu offers nice nibbles to go with the drink as well as three types of steak. I went for a Flat Iron served with chips and sauces and was quite pleased with it. I had it medium done, leaving it juicy and tender.
I wasn't too happy with the service when I went to order food at the counter: the bartender couldnt find the type of steak I wanted on her system and did not even try to fix the situation, as long as to my understanding she just didn't want to go through 'the pain of cancelling' the order. She eventually called her colleague for help to fix the situation, and in the end apologized for the misunderstanding.
It's worth checking out an upper floor for more cosy seating and even a small library ;) I would say The Bull it one of my favourite places in Westfield (in terms of the atmosphere not the service!) out of all I've been so far.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hanni R.休士頓, 美國12712017年10月23日
Food tinned, cold, congealed, and overpriced.
Manangement refused to refund. Absurd.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tammy T.倫敦, 英國301814742015年11月20日
If you're in Westfield, The Bull is definitely a good option for drinks. It's on the South Terrace, and they have a small little area outside with heat lamps. They have a good selection of beers and the ambiance is nice.
My biggest qualm? Drinks are just too expensive! £11 for a G&T? Thank you but no thank you. If you're around Westfield and you're looking for a bar/pub for some drinks, The Bull is a good choice but it's a little pricey for what it is.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bobby N.多倫多, 加拿大85538552013年9月2日
Arranged to meet my friend for lunch here, and since nobody really lives in the central London area this was the 'middle ground' for us both. Also we were expecting the football to be on so it was more his choice than mine.
This is located in a section of the mall containing other restaurants but this is the only bar/pub one there. I got there early and looked for a seat close to a TV. This place is big, like downstairs, upstairs and backstairs big. It is also very cosy, lots of sofas and alcoves to chill in.
Since they only had two televisions upstairs to choose from I picked the table closest to the upstairs bar and tv.
Had the steak from the specials, reasonably priced and good enough for 15 quid. The service was quick and polite and I quickly became a big fan of this pub.
However since I am trying to stay away from shopping malls, due to my inability to not spend, it will be awhile since I come back here I guess.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dave T.丹佛, 美國294464132012年12月31日
I really enjoyed this place. It was sort of a diamond in the rough since it stood out as a charming old school pub amongst a sea of Westfield chains and hub bub. Don't get me wrong, I think the Bull is a chain, but the feel of it keeps you distant from the reality just outside.
My cousin and I went in for a few drinks and met people from all over the planet. I was a good time of the year as everyone was buzzing with excitement and in the holiday spirit. A great place to mingle as a tourist or as a local. I don't think I saw too many shopping bags, so it seemed like people came straight there.
The staff was great, especially our downstairs bartender Monica who offered friendly advice about the area.
I'd repeat a visit to this place!

Great pub , huge pub, Over 3 levels. Outside area downstairs and the main bar has lots of character . Its a bit modern and a bit country . You would think this is enough but half way up the stairs there is a small area for quiet times or a private affair. To the top level you find another main bar with eating area and another outside area. Up 1 more step with more tables. A billiards room with gorgeous old chairs and cushions but its all modern and fresh? Quirky wallpaper , mirrored doors its like being in someones loungeroom.
We ate here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasnt very busy . Usual food of roasts, burgers kids menu that was nice and reasonably priced. The staff are young and bored but friendly enough. It has something for everyone here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yiwei L.倫敦, 英國012019年6月23日
A little bit disappointed with the roasted beef. The lamb shoulder is good, but a bit cold when served. Prawns are disaster. Service is fine. They provide crayons for kids to doodling.
