I did this special 3D/4D ultrasound so that my other two children could see their little sibling. I did it at 30 weeks and was amazed at how clear the images were. The staff was GREAT and polite and very professional. I pay the extra $20 for the DVD of the session and it was soooo worth it because I was able to come home and share it with everyone.
The package I chose was the special ($89 for pictures, CD and black and white) with the extra $20 DVD. Other places were expensive and did not have very good ratings so I am VERY happy with my choice and highly recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L S.奧斯丁, 美國02652013年4月20日分享評語第一人
I had a really wonderful experience today doing a 3D/4D ultrasound at 29 weeks. We got some really great shots of the baby's face and body, and I felt a lot more comfortable with Makeba than I felt at the last place I went where the only technician was an older male. Yes, I know that's sexist but I am just used to having female OB/GYNs and sonographers touching my belly.
I was given a CD with 36 pictures, a DVD with the whole session (about 18 minutes), a color printout, and 4 black and white printouts. It was $89 for the package plus $20 for the DVD which I think is very reasonable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Caralyn F.Grand Prairie, 美國012015年1月20日
The owner and sonographer is one of the most cold hearted unempathetic people that I've had the displeasure of meeting. As a physician myself, professionalism and empathy are extremely important. When telling this woman my miscarriage scare concerns, and the impression I was given by the front desk staff for what my ultrasound session would include, Instead of being apologetic or empathetic towards my concerns, she was Instead aggressive and belittling. When i asked her why she was talking to me so aggressively, thinking maybe she didn't realize how ugly she sounded, she instead became more hateful and rude. People who witnessed her unprofessional display of conduct in the waiting room shook their head and apologized to me before i left. One even referred to her as something I'd rather not post here- a very derogatory term. Unethical is the term that best fits her practice style. Be warned there are much better places to get a glimpse of your precious baby. Don't encourage this behavior by supporting this business. Go elsewhere!
**As an afternote, just because I did not identify myself as a physician does not mean that I am not. I should be given proper treatment as a patient regardless to my position, race, religion, Creed or socioeconomic status.
Furthermore, no one ever said anything about race. So please try again lady. The comments made by the lady and her mother in the waiting room were laced with profanity, nothing to do with your race. Your race has zero affect on my review.
Notice how defensive this woman is and angry after my review. Maybe that will give you a little insight into the accuracy of what I type. Also, she is correct. I refused to reschedule. Why would I want subpar service and verbal abuse a second time!? No Thank You!
I do NOT have Medicaid. Nor have i ever had Medicaid. Sounds like you made inaccurate assumptions (prejudice much??) and sound very negative towards those that do have Medicaid. I have high deductible insurance and just moved to Dallas for a new job position. I did not have an OB GYN established yet to order an ultrasound and wanted to check on baby due to miscarriage concerns.

As the co-owner of UVI we find it pretty disheartening for a customer to write a review that is 100% inaccurate. If any employee that is affiliated with UVI is wrong in anyway we always go the extra mile to correct the wrong. Because of HIPPA laws and just being respectful of a patients privacy I will explain as much as possible without revealing too much.
#1 this patient is NOT a physician nor a nurse and I find it SAD that she would even have the audacity to classify herself as such. She specifically came to our facility due to the fact that she didn't have insurance and she needed to get her medicaid started. The pregnancy confirmations that we offer are for the patients that are having a hard time getting their medicaid in a timely manner. We treat all of our pts with the utmost respect whether they are a physician or a stay at home mother.
#2 this patient wanted me to create something that was impossible, she was told to reschedule and she refused
#3 the clients in the waiting area never acknowledged this pt and was very shocked at her behavior
#4 for her to say that someone said something unethical or derogatory regarding my race was actually the individual who has taken the time to write this review
#5 the reviews on social media will prove to anyone how much the staff at UVI cares about our patients
This patient was given a full refund before she left because we understood that we would not be able to accommodate her because of the behavior that she displayed. We wished her luck.
Our hope is that righteousness and honesty prevail. We wish this person a happy pregnancy and pray that life brings her joy.
Social Media is an amazing tool however, when customers create lies it can be problematic.
