Barracuda Taphouse & Grill

A Coconut Grove mainstay that is a whole vibe and then some. Come for a round of flip cup or beer pong, to catch a game or just to hang out with friends. Their beer selection is vast, and I absolutely love how many sour options they have (recently tried a watermelon gose that I really enjoyed). Haven't had the pleasure of trying the food (yet) , but there's both indoor and outdoor seating so it's super convenient to grab a bite.

This spot is right on Fuller (a pedestrian street), so you can take a leisurely stroll before or after or hit up a couple of other bars in the area.

Service here is always friendly, and parking can be found on nearby streets or the CocoWalk Garage on Grand.

Unacceptable Service and Discrimination Experienced at Barracuda Taphouse from the staff person name Chris and the security guy (unfortunately, I don't know his name).


I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service my friend and I received at your establishment in Coconut Grove, Miami, on January 26, 2024 at 11 pm. Our experience was not only unpleasant but also deeply troubling due to the behavior of your staff.

Upon deciding to order a beer pitcher, we were taken a back by the bartender's approach. He rudely questioned our ability to afford it, which was embarrassing and entirely inappropriate. Such behavior is unacceptable in any customer service setting.

The situation worsened when we discovered a hair inside and outside the jug. Expecting a basic level of hygiene, we brought this to the attention of the staff, hoping for a simple replacement. Astonishingly, our complaint was met with outright denial and disrespect. The bartender dismissed our concern, refused to replace the pitcher, and insulted that we were lying by discarding the evidence.

Further, the involvement of the bouncer, who supported the bartender's decision and asked us to leave, added to our distress. Not only was this a clear neglect of customer service, but it also felt like a case of racial discrimination, making us feel targeted and unwelcome.

Such treatment is not only a violation of hospitality standards but also raises health concerns, as foreign objects in food and drink pose a risk to customers. The refusal to acknowledge and rectify a genuine complaint reflects poorly on your establishment.

We expected a pleasant night at Barracuda Taphouse but instead left feeling disrespected and discriminated against. I urge you to address this issue promptly to ensure no other customers experience such unacceptable service.

NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS PLACE!! This is my first time worst experience ever.

Perfect spot to grab some food and a pint. My family and I found this place when spending a short time in Miami. The bartender was wonderful to us. We all had a great time watching the STL cardinals play against the Marlins and enjoying delicious pub food and pints. The atmosphere is a fun and the decor is perfect. That snapper sandwich was spectacular. I wish this joint was in my neighborhood back home. Will be back next time I'm in Miami.

I found this place while looking for a chill place to get some seafood and beers. We walked in and sat at the bar instead of taking up a whole table for just 2. The service was okay. Our server/bartender was a short blonde lady who seemed like she was just there. No smile but no bad attitude towards us. It did seem like a lot of people that came up to the counter to get service she was slightly rude to. Not us though, not sure why. We ordered some fresh fish dishes and some beers and hung out while the Friday night crowd bustled around us. This was a hopping place for sure. We got our food and it was fresh, seasoned well and delicious. I would totally go back there again and try more dishes. I opted for the grilled mahi mahi and my husband got the blackened snapper sandwich. We both loved our meals and it was exactly what we were looking for. No frills, just good seafood. Might be back when visiting Miami again.

Best dive/sports bar in the grove, they have a pool table, great music and ample amount of TV's to watch the game. The beer wall is excellent and you're sure to find the perfect brew. I love the fish and chips, they are cooked in beer batter and served with waffle fries

Had a great meal the other night! Service was great, friendly bartenders, ours Chris was really nice and made good recommendations. The food is next level - not what I was expecting for a bar vibe, I had a delicious mahi plate with rice and beans that had so much flavor. Really great weekday spot!

Great spot to grab a good brew while in the grove. The entire staff was awesome. We posted up at the bar and tried enough beers to know they have a great selection. Drafts were lacking on the hazy IPAs but they had a ton of great ones in cans.

I have been in this place 2 times the first time they got my food undercooked didn't do anything about it and I ate and left this time it was overcooked I decided not to eat it and give it back and ask for a refund she threw the plate infront of me in the garbage never apologized about the mistake.
Very bad service, zero professionalism and the person that makes the food hve zero experience how to cook don't usually leave bad reviews like that but this place deserves it

Main bouncer here is an absolute cunt. He kicked me out because I was in crutches and a girl told
Me I could use the women's bathroom and he didn't like it. The least professional local bar in Miami without a doubt.
