Well to say i'm angry is putting it mild. Tumble Vets are shockingly bad. I will NEVER have to take any of them there again, thankfully.
When i took my Lurcher this morning, upon arrival i didn't receive any eye contact. I just heard "whats the dogs name?" There was no consultation with the vet. I must add, Brian (Vet) has been extremely professional WHEN i've received consultations with various other pets. Its the reception staff.
So then still without engaging she came round to take paddy from me and started to DRAG him by his lead which is a slip lead......so tightens with each YANK!! So after seeing my reaction she actually spoke to paddy and still being resistant he went with her. Still no eye contact with myself, just 'Call after 1pm' as she disappeared.
So we arrive at the vets at 3.30pm to collect him, as she had stated on the phone. The Surgery was shut but she arrived shortly after. No apology or even a hello. When we enter there is another receptionist present, and sadly presented same attitude and disregard. We stood around like fools until she comes out and passes me several pack of tablets saying 'start them tomorrow'.
Finally when we are reunited with my lurcher, instantly noticing that they hadn't cut his claws. I had specified this with her and was wrote on the sudation form i had to sign. Which i predicted verbally with my partner beforehand that would 'Forget'. When i asked if they had been done, she appeared a little agitated and looked. Then added 'The quicks were far too low so we didn't do it'.
We just left, after paying £145 i could no longer be there as i was at risk of voicing my opinion, rather loudly.
We have been observing his nails over the weeks and the quicks are very much retracted. I have a phobia of cutting dog claws, which is why i haven't cut them.
So in the end, no customer service or consultation. Nor is there any communication between vets and staff, which i find very disturbing. I know animals aren't regarded highly by most but they are our children and i want to know everything when it comes to their health.

I can only speak as I find - despite all the good comments so far on here, I would never go this vets again after mis-diagnosis, poor communication, poor complaints handling, lack of interest in the wellbeing of the animal and rudeness of the staff. My pets deserve better.

I was with Brian for four years but in the last year lost confidence - and now it is proved. I have been asking regularly for over a year for my collie to have dentistry and kept being told it was not necessary - but I thought it was. I was recommended to another vet and have just been phoned after they did urgent dentistry and my collie had FOURTEEN YES FOURTEEN upper teeth removed - appalling state the vet said they were in and should have been treated over a year ago - which is tallies with when I first asked! He only saw my collie a few months ago when the dog had an infection - and yet again said the dog did not need dentistry yet. I WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. I had another collie treated by him for heart failure and now I am heartbroken wondering whether she got the best of care in her "end years" or not - really mortified for my poor dogs that they did not have the best vet I could find and in tears!
