A:
There's an indoor pool that's heated, but I believe outdoor is not. Parking is the only compliant I have here, especially after work ?

This gym is fantastic! Excellent state of the art equipment, clean, caring staff and a wonderful therapy pool that is actually kept at the right temperature. InShape McHenery has 3 pools total, a jacuzzi and sauna. Excellently maintained with wonderful water aerobic classes.
The best kept secret in this place is they have a Excellent personal trainer named Antonio who is making Fantastic life changing strides with my Grandson Noah,
who is Autistic high functioning and was morbidly obese, had dangerously high cholesterol, sensory issues that kept him from wearing shoes he only wore sandals and suffered from low self esteem until Antonio started working with him two months ago! I tried taking him to other gyms and nothing ever clicked for Noah that would engage him to do any exercise. Due to sensory issues he couldn't participate in PE in school where he recently graduated with honors. When Noah took the first free visit with a personal trainer at this club Antonio engaged him like no one has ever done before. Guess what because of Antonio Noah is now wearing tennis shoes! Happy dance! His cholesterol is much better too. He has lost 60 lbs since June. Noah enjoys working out now 3 days a week and is excited about life and getting physically fit. He is especially happy for his Monday's with Antonio. InShape McHenry's Antonio is a God Send.

I left my bag with mi phone, bank card, car keys and other stuff in the locker the gym, I went to work out and when I came back the lock was gone and all my stuff. I went to the front desk to report it and they did not do anything, I asked what am im going to do now, everything was in there , even my car keys and they said "we don't know" . I asked for the manager but she was not there, they said that next day she was going to call me, what she never did.
so I called after that day and spoke to her and she said sorry there is nothing we can do.
I suggest to at list inform the customer this is happening so they take their precautions.

I had in the past very good expeeiences with this gym, but unfortunately this year that all changed. I tried putting my membership on hold on March 2024, and I could not even logged in to my account at all. It kept saying membership was not found. Also I was out of town too, so making it to the gym was impossible. I tried to do everything possible, and on top of everything I was very ill. Their management to me is not good, in the past, the staffing was better.They seem not to care, and just want the money. I will not reccommend this gym to nobody, and since have joined another gym. This gym went downhill for me, which is too bad. I regret signing a contract with them, and once expired, I will never do again. Prior to this, I had no issues, but I guess things do change. Poor customer service, and I hope other members are treated better than I was.

Ok I left a negative review the manger said to go on reviews@inshape.com to discuss at a personal level I tried to go into this link ........ there is no such thing , Id like to discuss the issue I'm having which is minor, but it is a issue and being a member for a good 15 years plus I think In-Shape should have the curtsy to care to reach out to me, I'm sure it an easy solve , But at least hear what I'm saying and don't try to brush me off ,

2023年7月14日以往評語I don't even know how to start my husband had been a faithful member for a good 20 plus years never a problem, alway nice friendly relationship with the front desk associates , but when Covid happened the three years took a toll on my husband , long story short , after 3 years we returned back to the gym first month back , I added my husband as a guest to my membership I pay 20.00 a month and all is well , I can bring him with me daily or any other guest, we've had a good experience with every one which after one time seeing my husband remembering his name and always telling us have a good work out , and when we leave telling us bye have a good day , never overlooking anyone , really makes a member feel good to know we are recognized .... Except for Isabella every single time never greets us with a smile NEVER ..... always looks at us with disgust always asking for a picture ID come on Isabella get to know your members , she knows I don't like it but she does it anyways, I mean the first time , second time , maybe even third ok but I would think Isabella was taught better customer service skills then that . My membership is paid for not given free . I want to feel good coming and leaving the gym , I'm 63 my husband is 60 sorry if we are old school but I believe in respect. I worked for 36 years in a medical customer service position I know that a smile and nice words really makes a person's day , and remembering a person is the ultimate, I hope the answer to Isabella's rudeness isn't she's too busy because that's just uncalled for , Members should always be top priority, I come to In shape because I want to not because I have too .. maybe Isabella needs a refresher on customer service , I really want to stress that positive energy really helps and gets you going on your work out , I also would like to mention that she requires us to show ID but actually doesn't even look at it she just knows that it bothers us , and I don't understand why she has chosen us to be rude to , Isabella really needs to look at the Id she's requiring lol .....I will be following up with Corporate

This location is great for people that love saunas. They keep the back room with the weights at a nice 100 degrees so you are constantly uncomfortable and sweating. It's awesome

I've toured many of the Central Valley In Shapes, and McHenry is one of my top favs! The staff is very engaging! Davyon, Borey, Jordan, Kristen, and others I haven't had time to connect better with yet have always gone out of their way to be strike up conversation or see if anyone needs anything. But equally important, especially for a gym, they know when to let you be. They read the room well, and I love it. Davyon said it best that this gym feels like family rather than just employees (and customers). The layout is awesome of course, but even the best looking gym can be the worst. McHenry though is where it's at! But I can't leave out Tim...
Man, does Tim work super diligently to keep the gym clean, especially the men's locker room! I know it's tough with sweaty grimy men plodding through the locker room to keep it pristine as it should be, but when Tim rolls in for his evening shift he brings his A-game! His thorough cleaning of the showers almost makes me wanna go barefoot haha, and I also see his innovative side in how he dries them out so the water doesn't settle and create a mildew smell. He makes the most of what he has in order to give us gym members the most we can get, and I for one do not overlook that!
Overall, I love the direction management and the team have taken with the gym. I am hopeful that maybe a locker room upgrade will come which would be icing on the cake! I love this club layout and everything but yikes take a look at these pictures. This is NOT a one-off or just a bad day. This is how the club is every time I have gone in the last few months.

The aqua fit indoor pool is ok, I just don't know why there are hair rubber bands still there around the perimeter of pool for over three weeks now. It seems they don't clean the perimeter daily, the air vents in ceiling are pure black. The ladies restroom toilet stalls are often messy with human yuk ( if you know what I mean ) on the toilets... many times I enter to check in a there are no towels but the front desk person is there just busy talking to a non phone call individual... the pool is ok gets the job done but I think it could be nicer and cleaner. Plus there's a chair by pool with a hole in the seat. These may be petty observations to some but I just think that area and restroom is overlooked.

Updating my review because I've been here a lot longer now then when I originally wrote my review... I'm gonna throw it out there and say KIDS CLUB is the MAIN reason why we love this gym, starting with Megan and Olivia those two are amazing, they keep our children engaged, and are super sweet. And they ALWAYS involve us when something happens, and like many other parents we love that this location is open ALL DAY!
- equipment is always maintained still no issues there
- huge stretching area
- nice staff
-the pool area is amazing, they maintain it 100%
My only hope is that they upkeep their saunas more, they need some TLC, please guys consider bleaching them once in a whileHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0商家資料

2018年4月14日以往評語Not gonna lie I used to go to IN SHAPE way back in the day and I hated the contract aspect of it.
I have ZERO bad reviews this time around.
Parking however could use a huge upgrade!!! But that's beyond their control at the moment
- daycare is THE only reason I joined this gym, the girls here are awesome! My kids LOVE Stephanie and so do we.
- equipment- gosh I'm impressed with how fast they fix broken equipment.
- pools and Raquel ball is such a good thing here especially for my sons.

This is my favorite location in modesto for working out. Hands down. Its much cleaner and well-lit than the other Modesto locations. BUT...the kids club morning shift....its another story. The TV is on constantly, and i get calls every time my kids are misbehaving. I get that they need to act better, yes they can be crazy, believe me I know.....but hire someone that knows how to redirect toddlers or engage them so they are not left to their own devices. We rarely have issues at the other locations. But i am called 2-3 times when im trying to get a break and work out. We have gotten kicked out twice now by the same girl because they were throwing toys at other kids or grabbing their shirts and pulling on them. HINT: I know my kids and yes they do that, but only when they are left to their own devices and not being supervised very well or helped to redirect. They need adults to engage with them positively. And i fully accept that my kids misbehave, and we are constantly working on it, and attempting to correct it, but all kids do this kind of stuff. At least many active boys do.
And they also wont let them eat any snacks, so if they are hungry and acting crazy, you have to leave. I dont even want to bring them back anymore. Its a serious issue.
And granted, I am posting this while I'm a little bit upset, so I might feel a little bit different in a couple hours, but here are my recommendations...
I believe there need to be two adults in the Kidzone at all times. That will help manage the chaos, and it will also protect from any accusations. I also believe they should only have the tv on for 20 min at a time and instead of TV, plan for Activities every 30 minutes. It can be a simple game of tag, hide and go seek, racing, anything to get the kids engaged. (Not all Toddlers cant just play nicely for 2 hours without adults stepping in and redirecting them and helping engage positive play) If the children want to throw things, I would create an activity where they were taught what they can throw and where they can throw it. This is supposed to be an active Center, so by all means, allow them to throw things in safe ways. And finally, if a child is acting crazy, and they're acting hungry, let them have a snack, and if you're worried about allergies, ask the parents coming in if their children have any allergies. If that's still a concern, then have a designated snack area that the kids can eat away from other people. Children usually know what they are allergic to, and I believe it is the parents responsibility to notify staff if a child does have certain allergies to certain foods.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0商家資料
