This was the best meal I had in Paris and maybe one of the best meals I've had in my life. Les Bougresses was so delicious that we ate here twice during our four day stay in Paris. It's an unassuming restaurant down a side street right off a small square. The dining space is small, intimate and dimly lit, which I think adds to the charm.
Service was prompt and even friendly, though I'm glad I dined with French speakers who could help with the language barrier. We ordered an incredible bottle of Rose to start. I opted for the prixe fix menu for 31 euros that included any appetizer of choice (even the specials), an entree and dessert. I started with the escargot special which was the best thing I ate in Paris and, again, probably one of the best thing's I've ate period. The sauce was rich and creamy and so flavorful, and the escargot were melt in your mouth tender. The fresh bread that was served was perfect for dipping into the sauce. I cleaned the entire plate.
Next was the beef bourguignon, another perfectly balanced dish served on top of soft, fresh pasta noodles. It was a generous portion, but thankfully I still had room for the crème brulee, which is truly something to experience. On our second night here I opted for the bone marrow with the beef filet which was also an out of body experience, dear lord.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2022年8月6日
Came here for dinner one evening. We made a reservation, which was a good idea, the place filled up quickly. For starters I got the salad with goat cheese and my husband the soup. My husband got the hanger steak and I got the ravioli. The ravioli was amazing! So delish. We also got a bottle of wine with dinner, and that was good as well. Service was okay - my husband got scolded because of his napkin. It was kinda weird, but they were mad he placed his napkin on top of his plate when he was done eating. I've never been anywhere where you get chewed out for where you place your napkin, but okay! Lol. For dessert my husband got the cream brûlée and I got the cheese. Both were yummy.

I was there in 2019 b4 Covid. Recommended to several of my friends! Last time when I was there, ordered the steak frites & some veggies! Foods & the sauce was so great that I asked ( the sauce) for extra! They gave me without charging! Will come back for sure!

After a long day of site seeing and about 27k steps logged we wanted someplace close to our hotel for dinner and Les Bougresses fit the bill. Very nice rustic interior and two guys taking orders and serving in a very informal. The meals were delicious, but the starters stood out as amazing. The beef carpaccio was melt in your mouth outstanding and the prosciutto with provolone tomatoes and basil was presented as a loaf or terrine. That was the star on the night. Nice place quiet street.

We were recommended this spot by a friend, so we made Les Bougresses our first stop in Paris. The food was so incredible, we regretted making it our first stop because we thought nothing could compare!
The BEST thing on the menu and you MUST order is the fried goat cheese entree (appetizer). After a week in France, we concluded this was the best overall dish we were served.
Les Bourgresses is a must stop restaurant in Paris, and we will return!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sam C.Cherry Hill, 美國039152022年7月8日
Absolutely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in, in my life
The food was authentic French and I could eat the entire menu all day everyday
This is why I'm giving it 5 stars despite our waiter ( bearded guy who might also be a manager) being an utter and complete jerkoffHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Kailey O.Campbell, 美國3467064482017年3月1日
A staple restaurant in Le Marais. it's quaint, friendly, and the service is spectacular. On a Tuesday night for a party of 2, we did not make a reservation and we were seated immediately, however the restaurant was relatively full at 8:30 PM.
- We ordered a delicious 50 cL bottle of red wine for about 14 euros.
- I had the mozzarella jambon dish - it could quite possibly be the last meal i'd like to eat on earth if i had the choice.
- I also ordered the hen for my main course. it was again one of the most delicious, yet rich dishes i've ever had. the meat was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful.
- Lastly, and most importantly, my dad and I each ordered the chocolate cake dessert with raspberry sauce and ice cream. ooooohhhhweeeeee. it was the most decadent, enjoyable, warm, cold, ooey, gooey experience i've had. They really know how to make those. It's a must have when dining here.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Yo L.Naperville, 美國1591002017年4月22日
A must.
If I was to recommend a place in Paris, this would be it! Flavor is phenomenal and price is reasonable. I'd come back to Paris just to eat here againHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sofia W.Lexington, 美國0462018年7月6日
When we walked up to Les Bourgresses, a waiter immediately anticipated our arrival and opened the door for us. He seated us at the window brought us our menus as well as an amuse bouche of a cold lobster bisque garnished with olive oil. Nothing notable about the bisque except that it tasted lovely and the left me wanting more.
We ordered appetizers first. I was not disappointed by the mushroom ravioli in a lemongrass chicken broth. The presentation was minimal, but still interesting to look at, as it was topped with a foam of the broth. My mom ordered the octopus carpaccio with a citrus grapefruit dressing of sorts. The cook on the octopus was excellent, however the flavor was somewhat lacking in the citrus we were expecting. Finally, my stepdad ordered the texture of tomato, which was the most creative concept. A cold tomato soup with a soft cooked tomato and a crispy tomato skin. The flavor was good, and the intended texture variants were definitely there.
Next were the entrees. My mom and I both ordered the tuna and risotto with peas. The cook on the tuna was absolutely perfect. The risotto was creamy and filled with peas as well as zucchini which provided a needed crunch to the otherwise soft meal. My stepdad ordered the duck and cumin carrots and seemed to enjoy it.
With our entree we were provided some roast potatoes for the table. They were cooked well and seasoned minimally and seemed rather unnecessary.
Dessert was like heaven on earth. I ordered the creme brulee, and although simple, it was exactly how it should be. My mom and stepdad ordered a chocolate molten cake with a caramel foam and chai tea ice cream. Flavors you wouldn't expect to necessarily work together, but definitely do.
Our service was exceptional and after noticing my family's bickering over the small chocolates that came with the coffee, he brought us four more.
The food was for the most part fantastic, and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
